As the third most polluting industry, fashion is more detrimental to the planet than food
retail, technology, construction and transportation, only second to the fuel and agriculture
industry. Fashion rentals is a new concept emerging as a more sustainable form of fashion.
Bipty is a peer-to-peer fashion rental marketplace. Bipty allows our members to both lend out their closet and borrow from others around them. The implementation of a hub-base model makes fashion more accessible, financially and physically. Members are able to browse thousands of closets near them, request to borrow a piece at a fraction of the retail price and pick up the borrow in a matter of days or hours.
Not only do rentals create a cleaner planet, Bipty's mission is to empower each and every member; not simply by sharing clothes, but sharing confidence.
